Organi Krishi launches Buransh squash

Organi Krishi has recently launched its premium Buransh squash.

Buransh or the Rhododendron is basically a deep-pink colour flower that is primarily found in the Himalayan Valley and has been an integral part of Uttarakhand’s local economy. They have a sweet flavour and slightly tangy texture that makes an ideal drink for summer time. The Buransh squash is traditionally utilised by the locals residing on the mountainous region to make pickles, squash, jam, syrup, honey, and to treat as an aid for diarrhoea, fungal infection, headache, inflammation.

To keep the freshness in, Organi Krishi’s Buransh squash comes in glass bottles. The company sources it’s Buransh from the forests near Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand. Then the petals are cleaned and the squash is made by the local team keeping both the hygiene and freshness in mind.

Mix the squash with chilled water or you can also consume it by adding them in cocktails. Refrigerate and consume it within 6 weeks.  

Health benefits 

You will be surprised to learn that Buransh has unbelievable health benefits and several other medical properties. They have abilities to prevent diabetes and reduce cholesterol levels and contain antioxidant properties. The flowers mainly provide fibres and are a good source of potassium, calcium, and vitamin C.

They have iron that treat anaemia and fight body weakness, they keep the liver healthy and fight liver diseases and work as an ointment to kill pain such as headaches. Buransh juice keeps the skin both healthy and ageing free and protects it from the ultra-violet rays of suns.
