In the backdrop of excessive and harmful usage of pesticides began the story of Sresta. In 1992, when their founder, Raj Seelam observed the alarming use and spread of chemical usage on farms, and the impact it had on rural indebtedness. This sowed the seeds for Sresta. With a group of inspired colleagues, they set out on a lifelong journey of passion and commitment and 24 Mantra Organic was born. It has been a challenging journey from 2004 to now. Today 45,000 farmers cultivate 2,25,000 acres across 15 States. In this Webinar, hear from the Founder himself, Mr. Raj Seelam, how he started the journey into the organic field at an era when there was not much awareness about Organic in the minds of the Indian people.

Every Farm has a Story! Like all good ideas, Earthy Tales too started in our backyard farm in a small town of Pushkar, Rajasthan 8 years ago. What started with a picnic farmhouse, gradually grew into a sprawling Amla orchard and finally became a hub for experimenting different farming techniques with Deepak Sabharwal deciding to dirty his hands every weekend. While still working with General Electric (GE), he would work 5 days a week in the GE office in Gurgaon and then travel 420 kms overnight to spend his weekends exploring farming. From a closed group of 20 known families, they now serve fresh organically grown produce to over 4000 families. Join this webinar to know what inspired him to choose Organic Farming over an ambitious career.

The first of these Meet The Plantpreneur webinars will cover the Organic Food & Beverage and Organic Clothing segment. The Webinar will have a panel of four eminent speakers from renowned brands in the Organic Industry.

Part one:

Will be for around 60 minutes where each Plantpreneur will tell his or her story, how they faced the challenges of entering the sector and their advice to aspiring Organic Entrepreneurs.

Part two:

Will be a 20 minutes Q&A session.
