Satvic Foods: A mother’s dream project

As an excellent cook, a caring and doting mother, Jamana Mahajan had always wanted to start something of her own. At first, she decided to start making YouTube videos, but her son and husband have full-time jobs, and she was not that technically equipped to handle this by herself. She shot a couple of videos, but there was no consistency.

Jamana recalls, “Then on my 57th birthday, my son and I got to talking about my dream of starting my own business. He suggested to me that we should go ahead with spices as I have been making them for the last 20-25 years. The very first thing that we made at our home to sell was Golden Milk Masala.” That’s how Satvic Foods started.
