The world has been dependent on food for its survival, making agriculture one of the biggest necessities of humankind. With time, it has been evolving in all ways, from the invention of chemical fertilisers to the inclusion of machines for harvesting to reduce labour. The most recent addition to agri-tech are drones. In the Indian Budget 2022, the Finance Minister announced the promotion of ‘Kisan Drones’ to aid farmers to assess crops, digitise land records and spray nutrients. A pioneer in this field, Equinox’s Drones has been working for making drones accessible throughout the country.
A flourishing startup founded by Ashish Aman (CEO) and Akshat Shri Mohan (COO), it is headquartered in the ‘Silicon Valley’ of India, Bengaluru, Karnataka and was awarded as the best drone company in 2019.
Ashish believed in the motto: “Evolve the way the world moves.” That’s how Equinox’s Drones was born. “We are constructing assets, planning, and doing O&M on a regular basis. To make the process easier, we chose to assist companies by saving time and money,” Aashish shares.
