There is a philosophy that the manner in which food is grown has a long-term impact on our health and the environment. This same philosophy is the founding stone on which Ecotyl stands.
Founded by Aditya Sharma, Ecotyl brings 100% organic, eco-friendly, and high-quality products sourced from their best-grown locations across the country, all while ensuring that the environment is minimally impacted during product delivery to consumers.
Eco-friendly pocket of products
Ecotyl has a range of 80+ certified organic and eco-friendly products across 8 categories that includes dals and cereals, millets and flours, spices and blends, salts, sweeteners, and oils, tea and coffee, superfoods, kitchen essentials, processed foods and eco-friendly products. The brand has curated a hand-picked selection of kitchen essentials, superfoods, snacks, as well as wellness products.
Aditya’s goal is to make Ecotyl a one-stop shop for high-quality health and wellness products sourced from India’s best-growing regions. The name, as interesting as the brand itself, was suggested by Anuskha, an intern and a student of climate change and sustainability studies at TISS, Mumbai. Ecotyl is a combination of the words “eco-friendly” and “cotyledon” (Cotyledons help supply the nutrition a plant embryo needs to germinate). This name is consistent with the brand’s mission and essence.
Conceived with the intent to create a sustainable brand that follows farm to fork philosophy, most of Ecotyl’s raw materials are sourced in small batches, to ensure freshness when they are delivered to the customers. These products are subjected to stringent inspections at various stages to make sure that they meet food safety and hygiene standards. The products are also vegan, pesticide-free, unadulterated, GMO-free, and free of any artificial ingredients.
“We take utmost precautions while selecting, packing, and delivering our products to ensure that they meet high-quality standards and minimally impact the environment. We are committed to the idea of nurturing nature and promoting sustainable growth,” says Aditya.
