Thanks to the power of Community, Earthy Tales along with Prabhaav Foundation started food distribution to the Covid-19 impacted in NCR in early May this year, when the second wave was at its peak.
Earthy Tales was deeply moved by the plight caused by the current upsurge in the pandemic. Deepak Sabharwal, co-founder and CEO, Earthy Tales says, “Taking food security and relief as our primary goal, we along with our customer community and friends raised funds and supported Prabhaav Foundation, a New Delhi-based NGO having strong record in relief work to support marginalised sections of society. Through our efforts, we have been able to provide over 7000 plus cooked meals in various slums in Delhi. The meals were prepared at a cloud kitchen in Gurgaon in most hygienic conditions with complete safety protocols in place. And they are not just meals, they are healthy meals.”
Also, recognising the importance to support Front Line workers, Earthy Tales partnered with local administration and police and provided them with sanitisation kits which included essentials like PPEs, masks, sanitisers, gloves.
Earthy Tales is an award winning, organic community based Farm to Fork start-up which is working towards linking the health-conscious and socially responsible city communities with the organic farmers of the country. Throughout the lockdown, the organic community kept sourcing chemical free produce from organic farmers and doing Home deliveries to its customer base.
Co-founded by an ex-GE (General Electric) finance professional Deepak Sabharwal and an ex TFCI Investment professional Narinder Sondhi, Earthy Tales is building India’s most trusted and loved go to portal for curated, wellness health products.
It’s also one of the chosen few Agri Start-Ups under the Ministry of Agriculture’s RKVY RAFTAAR (2021 batch) scheme for the start up’s working on innovation in farming related sector.
