Soulfull, the brand established in 2013 by Kottaram Agro Foods has reinvented the humble grains- millets to create a product which is honest, relevant and convenient for the 21st century consumer. Recently Tata Consumer Products (TCPL) acquired Kottaram Agro Foods for Rs. 155.8 crore to expand its product portfolio.

Currently, Soulfull has a range of millet-based snacks and cereals such as Ragi Bites, Millet Muesli, and Smoothix for consumers to enjoy healthily meals and guilt-free snacking.

Soulfull believes in creating products that give consumers the power of traditional ancient grains which are gluten and preservative-free. Being strong believers in sustainability, most of their products contain Ragi sourced from local farmers in Karnataka allowing them to create products with less water to support the earth and community. The first product being Millet Muesli Range which can be a part of your delightful breakfast is filled with multigrain goodness. The various options under the range with benefits are Crunchy Millet Muesli with 40% Oats, Natural Source of Protein and Benefits of Ragi; Fruit & Nut Millet Muesli with 90% Whole Grains + Fruits & Nuts, High Fibre, Benefits of Ragi; Nuts & Seeds Millet Muesli with 33% Fruits + Nuts + Seeds, High Protein, 0% Refined Sugar, 1500 mg of Omega 3; Chocolate & Cranberry Millet Muesli with 20% Almonds + Seeds + Cranberry, High Protein, 100% Natural Ingredients, 1500mg of Omega 3 and lastly, Diet Millet Muesli with 50% oats, Natural Source of Protein, Benefits of Ragi, 0% Refined Sugar.

Next product is Ragi Bites which has a perfect range of it being a healthy, tasty and convenient snack for kids. It has Ragi and Dal on the outside and has milk flavoured fills in three flavours – chocolate, vanilla, strawberry on the inside and is targeted for kids in the age group of 4-12 years. The range of products under this category is a Ragi Bites No Maida Choco and Ragi Bites No Maida Loopies as a fun and exciting breakfast cereal range for kids; it comes in interesting shapes with the same Ragi and other grains’ goodness. The Ragi makes it Calcium-rich and Protein is derived from the Dal and the absence of Maida keeps the gluten out. Every bite contains more than 50% Ragi, a delicious filling and 100% goodness.

Lastly Smoothix is a perfectly healthy and tasty high protein drink which is loaded with 12 super grains and includes crunchy almonds, high fibre superfood millets & cereals, plant protein and natural jaggery. Chocolate Muesli Bliss Balls
Ingredients:
● 1 cup Soulfull Chocolate & Cranberry muesli
● 1/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
● 2 tbsp honey/maple syrup
● 1/3 cup pitted dates
● Optional – cocoa powder, beetroot powder, desiccated coconut powder.Muesli

Method:

– In a pan dry roast the muesli for about 1 minute. Let it cool
– Mix all the other things together in a food processor and churn until well combined and looks like a sticky coarse paste
– Shape it into multiple mini balls
– Roll them into cocoa/beetroot/coconut powders or enjoy as it is.

Soulfull Matcha & Berry America Parfait
Ingredients:
● 1/2 cup of Soulfull Fruits, Nuts & Seeds muesli
● 1 cup Greek yogurt or hung curd (for hung curd, take 1.5 cup yogurt, tie it in a muslin
cloth and hang for 4-5 hours).
● 1/2 tsp Matcha powder
● 2 tbsp strawberry syrup/jam/mixed berries compote
● 1 tsp honey/maple syrup
● 2 tbsp chia seeds
● Fruits of choiceParfait

Method:

– In a pan dry roast the muesli for about 1 minute. Let it cool
– Mix all the other things together in a food processor and churn until well combined and looks like a sticky coarse paste
– Shape it into multiple mini balls
– Roll them into cocoa/beetroot/coconut powders or enjoy as it is

Soulfull Chocolate & Cranberry Pancakes
Ingredients:
1 cup Soulfull cranberry and chocolate muesli – pulsed
1 medium-sized banana
1.5 eggs or 4 tbsp ground flax in 1 tbsp water – let it rest for 5 mins
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tsp baking powder.Pancakes

Method:

– In a bowl mix muesli, banana, egg or flax egg, vanilla, milk and butter and whisk well. Just ensure it’s mixed well and not over whisked. If the batter looks thick, add more milk
– Let the batter rest for 10-15 mins
– Heat a flat pan, brush a little oil and pour a ladleful of batter. When bubbles appear flip and let it cook from the other side
– Top it up with chocolate chips, walnuts, shaved almonds, honey or maple syrup and fruits of choice!
