In a significant move aimed at promoting organic farming and enhancing market access for organic produce, leading online grocer Bigbasket has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra Pradesh government. This partnership is expected to bring substantial benefits to the state’s organic farmers while offering consumers across India greater access to fresh and sustainable organic products.
The formal agreement was signed in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, reflecting the state’s commitment to fostering organic farming and sustainable agricultural practices. As part of the collaboration, Bigbasket has announced plans to establish four new collection centres across Andhra Pradesh.
