Clover Organic lends a helping hand to Manipur and Mizoram’s pineapples!

Pineapples are tropical fruits that are rich in vitamins, enzymes and antioxidants. They help boost the immune system, build strong bones and aid indigestion. Pineapples are grown in Manipur since 1947 and recently in Mizoram. The pineapple so sweet and juicy that honey bees come and sit on them! 

Features:

  • Late maturing variety grown particularly for its canning quality are Kew varieties.
  • Long leaves with small spines at the tip and at the base near its attachment to the stem, where they are irregularly arranged
  • Big sized and weighs 2 to 3 kg
  • Oblong in shape, slightly tapering towards the crown with broad and shallow eyes
  • The fruit is light yellow, almost fibreless and very juicy with 0.6 – 1.2% acid and 12° to 16° brix TSSorganic pineapples

Mizoram pineppalesClover Organic has tied up with various airlines to transport the fruits as they have a very limited shelf life of 4-5 days only.
