Noor Essenciia: In the light of Nature

Read how Tasneem Ali turned her obsession with handmade soaps into a shining success story.

Tasneem Ali was always fascinated by handmade soaps to the extent that at every fair, exhibition or show, handmade soaps became her possession. And she thinks, that subconsciously, that became her inspiration to start a venture of handmade pure soaps. That was how Noor Essenciia was created.

The brand was founded with the goal of bringing clean, chemical-free bathing soaps to consumers, and the idea to make handcrafted cold-process soap from scratch was developed. The brand aims to provide the product in its purest, most natural form to improve your bathing and skincare routine.

“The vision to provide pure soap with the goodness of natural ingredients led to the inception of Noor Essenciia,” founder Tasneem shares. ‘Noor’ means the divine light and Essenciia is about the essential natural ingredients.

Sharing insights on the name choice, she says, “When I was going through a phase when the opportunities were not coming so easily, that’s when I felt the ‘divine light’ that guided me to making natural soaps. My soaps are made from essential ingredients sourced from nature to nurture skin, and when it came to a name for my brand, nothing fitted better than to suffix ‘Noor’ with Essentials. That’s how the name Noor Essenciia came up.”

Handmade by Nature

Noor Essenciia soaps are manufactured by mixing plant-based oils and different kinds of butter and are ideal for all skin types. They are also devoid of SLS, parabens, and synthetic surfactants.

The products are cold process soaps made in various variants like coconut milk soaps, hydrosol soaps, clay soaps, etc. The soaps are made using natural and plant-based ingredients – coconut oil, olive oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, mango butter and many such.
