Maruthi Village: Shankar Chelluri’s journey is making headlines

This is the story of Shankar Chelluri, who after 27 years in a storytelling career spanning News Reporting, PR & Corporate Communications decided to explore farming. The fact that Shankar’s grandfather used to cultivate paddy may have been the reason for this interest which further got rekindled driven by need to enhance immunity during the pandemic and the need to consume fresh farm produce. Shankar completed some courses on Organic Farming, vermicomposting and Natural Farming to get a better understanding of Farming and that’s how Maruthi Village Limited was conceptualised.
