Norway-based Simply Organic launches Indian Simmer Sauces

Norway-based Simply Organic, a leader in organic herbs, spices, flavours and seasonings has launched its new range of Indian simmer sauces. The range takes the challenge out of creating spice-forward, authentic-tasting Indian dishes by simply choosing the dairy or non-dairy add-ins, mixing in meat, vegan protein or vegetables, and simmering.

The range comes in four variants:

Coconut Curry
Warm, buttery umami flavour featuring onion, tomato and garlic, with cilantro and coconut undertones. Complex spiciness with only a little heat. Mix with canned unsweetened coconut milk and simmer with lentils or chickpeas and veggies for a luscious vegan meal.

Korma
Multiple, complex flavours marry well in this tangy, umami sauce. Cooked onion and tomato, earthy cardamom, turmeric, ginger and garlic, and subtle fruity undertones. Spicy, but with little heat. Add plant-based yogurt at the end of cooking for a great vegan dish over basmati rice.

Tikka masala, Coconut masala, Madrass curry

Madras Curry
This spice-forward, tangy sauce features earthy bell pepper, savoury tomato, aromatic onion and fruity tropical notes, with sizzling heat from cayenne. Combine with water to open up the flavours and simmer with chicken, pork or vegetables.

Tikka Masala
Rich, creamy classic Indian sauce with moderate heat, featuring warm, earthy spice notes of coriander, cumin, paprika and turmeric, along with sweet tomato, onion, garlic, and bright herbal cilantro notes. Mix with cream or non-dairy equivalent and simmer with chicken.
