Go for Grounds: Closing the loop in Coffee

You thought when you finished drinking your coffee, that was the end of it? Wrong. Abhinav Kumar and Dipraj Das of Craft Coffee have rolled out an initiative to recycle and repurpose used coffee grounds.

In March 2021, Abhinav Kumar and Dipraj Das started Craft Coffee, as a specialty coffee brand with a pilot specialty coffee shop on Park Street in Kolkata after quitting their respective corporate jobs. Inspired by the response to the rising popularity of the already well-known functional beverage in India, their goal was to serve specialty coffee and make it more accessible and affordable.

As coffee roasters, achieving sustainability in the coffee industry is a dream Craft Coffee chases. This is why the brand made the decision to conduct a thorough campaign to demonstrate its value awareness regarding coffee grounds.
