Bastar Tribal Homestay: Uplifting the tribes of Chhattisgarh

Few places in India can match Bastar’s unique tribe history and tradition. However, Bastar’s tribal heritage is not only in the past; the region’s tribal population proudly uphold their communities’ culture and practices. This area is also breathtakingly beautiful, with captivating waterfalls, cave formations, and a national park.

The district has a classic village called Chhote Bodal, surrounded by fields and close to the Kanger Valley National Park, with around 200 families in a tribe.

The Bastar Tribal Homestay is right in the heart of it all. This homestay is neither fancy nor luxurious. It’s a straightforward, even basic, place to stay, complete with an Indian-style bathroom, which makes it equivalent to staying in any village home.
