From Field to Fashion becomes From Field to Face

There was an urgent need of face masks. Therefore the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified companies have started to designate parts of their factories to face mask production. GOTS certified masks, ensure that no dangerous chemicals are used. It ensures the safety of the environment and the skin. Many certified companies have started producing GOTS masks. Some of them are Schweikardt-Moden and Loud + Proud in Germany and Naturepedic and Avocado Green Brands in the US.

Unfortunately, some face masks offered do not seem to be GOTS certified. As a result, buyers should double-check labelling for accuracy. It includes label grade and license number (should be verified in the GOTS public database). Understanding the material composition: a GOTS product must include at least 70% certified organic content.
